You can once again buy your milk in Glass Perfume Bottle. Where? Your grocery store. Heartland Creamery brings back the day of milk in Glass Perfume Bottle. And at least for me, it is a change for the better.
Heartland Creamery uses Glass Perfume Bottle to preserve the natural, fresh flavor of their milk. Their glass milk bottles are a heavy glass that does not break easily. Their Glass Perfume Bottle are clear and with very little writing or graphics on them.
The bottles may be used for a variety of things, like a great piggy bank. Or, they can be rinsed and returned to the store and your deposit will be refunded.
What happens to that returned jar? Heartland Creamery has state-of-the art bottle washing. Their machine can handle 300 bottles at one time. They are first submerged into a cleaning solution. Next they are power washed and then they are rinsed with fresh water and sanitized. The glass milk bottles are then ready to refill!
What about the milk? The milk tastes great. I tend to believe that is because Heartland Creamery uses only the goats and dairy cows on their own farm. They have 6,000 Holstein milk cows and 750 milk goats. They raise/milk these on their northeast Missouri farm.
